Roomzzz  Aparthotel, Newcastle

A new 79-unit extension to Roomzzz Aparthotel in the heart of conservation area of Newcastle city centre.
The new extension, which is spread over eight floors, is in keeping with the urban setting in terms of scale and mass and  is linked to the existing building via a contemporary new link.  Sustainable  technology is a significant element of the design and we have therefore included CLT,   a highly flexible material with a lower carbon footprint than traditional materials  and a green roof.

Private House, Alwoodley, Leeds

Planning Approval

Planning has been approved  for a new two-storey, four-bedroom house in North Leeds.  The design is  appropriate to modern family living both spatially and in terms of maximizing the relationships between the internal spaces and  the external setting, whilst the light, modern use of materials  introduces a new,  highly contemporary  vernacular to the local area.

Wigley Hall Farm

Planning Approval

Studio Map have approval for the conversion of a 17th century farmhouse and associated outbuildings to provide a single family dwelling.   Where appropriate, the historical elements will be retained.  A new contemporary feel will be achieved via the introduction of new, glazed links and by raising the roof to bring in more light.
